Personal Injury Law Clerk (Accident Benefits/Tort)
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills to build and maintain a strong relationship with clients, personal injury lawyers/clerks/law firms. A College Diploma or Degree from a recognized Law Clerk or Paralegal program is an asset. Experience in Accident Benefits (SABS legislation) is required. Understanding of tort procedures would be an asset.
The candidate will ideally have at least 3 years of experience and will be required to perform the following tasks:
- Participate in client intake meetings, in-person, phone and virtual
- Completion of various OCF forms and knowledge of the SABS process
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years legal firm experience in personal injury litigation working at a law clerk level
- Successful completion of a post-secondary law clerk program
- Professional, client service focused, self-motivated and ability to take initiative
